To guide children in learning about Jesus and the amazing love God has for each of them. We offer purposeful and comprehensive programming prepared for children from infants through the fifth grade.
Being a part of women's ministry has brought me so much joy. I'm less isolated and really enjoy caring for my local community.
Children in preschool through fifth grade start in the Sanctuary, where they are able to participate in worship. They are invited to spread the light of Christ as a way to welcome God at the beginning of the service. They do this by grabbing a battery powered candle during check-in and placing it anywhere they want in the Sanctuary when our Music Director prompts them. Following our announcements, all children are invited to the front for a short Children’s Moment with the Pastor. Then, children are escorted by our Kids Leaders to their classrooms for the remainder of the worship service, where they enjoy safe, age-appropriate, and fun-filled environments with opportunities to engage in active lessons designed to build their relationship with Jesus.
Infants through two years old are welcome to go straight to the nursery for the whole worship service. For any babies remaining with parents during the service, we have a designated room near the Sanctuary for parents to rock, change or feed little ones as needed. Ask a greeter and they can show you where it is. If you need to leave the Sanctuary with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. We know God put wiggles and noises in children and they are welcome and loved as they are at Mountain View. As Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.”
We also offer several special events throughout the year, such as Trunk-or-Treat, Popsicles on the Playground, Pancake Breakfast, Easter Egg Hunt, Pizza Lunches, Gingerbread Bash, VBS, and even a private screening at the local movie theater — plus many more!

We offer purposeful and comprehensive programming prepared for children from infants through the fifth grade. On Sunday mornings, all children are invited to participate in KidZone which is Mountain View’s version of children’s church. KidZone offers all children a safe, age appropriate, and fun-filled environment where they are given the opportunity to engage in active lessons designed to build their relationship with Jesus.
Children in kindergarten through fifth grade start in the Sanctuary, where they take part in our interactive Children’s Moment. They are then dismissed to classrooms. Infants through four-year-olds can start in the Sanctuary or go straight to one of two nursery classes.
We also offer several special events throughout the year, such as Trunk-or-Treat, Pumpkin Decorating, Popsicles on the Playground, Pizza Lunches, VBS, and many, many more!
